Duties: The Penn Memory Center (PMC) seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator - A to join our multi-disciplinary team of health professionals. The Penn Memory Center is a National Institute on Aging designated research center recognized for our role in developing and conducting innovative research for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of Alzheimer's disease and related neurodegenerative diseases. The successful candidate will oversee a large (400 person) longitudinal non-treatment cohort study for which he/she will also administer cognitive testing, andwill participate in neuroimaging and experimental cognitive neuroscience studies linked to this cohort.

Duties include: Coordination of imaging studies and administration of standardized assessments for clinical patients and research participants, as well as administration of experimental cognitive measures for clinical patients and research participants; screen, recruit, and perform informed consent for new participants into study, meeting and maintaining study enrollment and retention goals; analysis of data and contributing in the writing of manuscripts; process and handle biological samples.

Position is contingent on continued funding.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 1 year to 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

The position requires effective communication skills; strong organizational and time management skills; flexibility, and the ability to meet goals and deadlines. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently; Adherence to all University of Pennsylvania, FDA, and GCP guidelines.

The preferred candidate will have experience with and a comfort level working with persons with Alzheimer's disease and their family caregivers.
