This position is a one year Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Resident position.
This year will serve to train the APP Resident to provide care and management of infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Duties will include newborn resuscitation, management of conventional and high frequency ventilation/nutrition/medications, physical examinations of patients, ordering and evaluating diagnostic tests and providing pre- and post-operative care. Residents will also perform procedures common to the NICU.

Monday-Friday 7am-3pm (40 hours per week) + approximately one 28 hour call shift per week. This position does not qualify for overime pay. May be required to work holidays and weekends if call shift is scheduled on these days.
