Technology & Communications Manager
This role supports the technical, marketing, and communication needs of the Division of Global Affairs (DGA). Responsibilities include providing administration of operating system and associated network services, maintaining, developing, and designing of website and other computer web-based applications, managing and authoring office-wide publications and promotional materials, authoring and co-authoring DGA annual report and newsletters, and managing internal and external communications on behalf of the Division.
This position will also represent DGA at relevant events and serve as a liaison between University Information Technology Services, University Relations, External Relations, and other campus partners. Responsible for the coordination and support of the technical needs of KSU; set up and support of IT equipment; coordinate installation and operations; service and maintain equipment; oversee inventory of equipment; assist with large campus projects; provide training to student and support staff in regard to equipment operation.

Bachelor's degree and 1 years experience OR Associate's degree, technical certification, 2 years college coursework and 3 years experience.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a diverse background in technology support, communications, and marketing. The candidate will also possess excellent communication skills, a focused attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude. In addition, the following characteristics are preferred:
- Professional experience building, updating, and maintaining websites
- Experience working with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Studio Abroad, and Fluid Surveys
- Ability to multi-task and manage demanding workload and multiple projects
- Professional experience working in an international programs/services/studies office (within or outside higher education)
- Strong writing and editing skills
