You: We're looking for a professional like you to teach our students about the exciting world of International Business Administration. Your experience makes you the ideal instructor because you can impart both on-the-job know-how and industry knowledge and expertise.
Your mission: At HCC, we're committed to preparing our students for great careers. We'll count on you to design and teach a curriculum that will equip our students for careers in International Business Administration.
Your work: You'll establish courses following best practice educational standards; teach students using a variety of effective methodologies; and provide engagement and support activities that encourage student learning. When you're not teaching, you might be assisting students with opportunities for work (co-ops, part-time, work-study) and careers; evaluating program curricula and/or practices; advising declared majors; or reviewing textbooks and learning materials.

Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in International Business, Relations, Management, Marketing, or Logistics or related field. For Law classes, JD is required. Photocopy of college transcript showing degree conferred must be submitted with application for consideration.
Three (3) years' work experience in the International Business / Law area with emphasis in one of the preferred fields. NOTE: Part-time experience will be counted as half of full-time experience; for example, two (2) years of part-time experience will equal one (1) year of full-time experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to teach all International Business Administration courses, or specific course such as Law. Possess the ability to work in a diverse work environment. Willing and able to teach day or evening classes at a number of sites around the city. Knowledge and skill in a variety of computer software required. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse professional, community, and student population. Possess good organizational and planning skills. Demonstrate sensitivity to students with diverse academic, socio-economic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds and students with disabilities. Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate students in a learning-centered environment. Self-disciplined and able to effectively manage others.
