Position Summary: This position will be a native- and web- applications designer and developer for the Communication for Health Applications and Interventions (CHAI) Core. This position will be responsible for development projects from early requirements gathering through testing and deployment.

Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree preferred. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, math, or Engineering or related technical degree from an appropriately accredited institution; or Bachelor's degree and some computer coursework from an appropriately accredited institution and one year of experience in business application consulting or development; or Associate's degree in Computer Programming and one year of experience in application consulting or development; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Journey level requires an additional one year of experience. - Advanced level requires an additional two years of experience.

Qualification and Experience: The candidate must be experienced developing iOS or Android apps from the ground up, as well as web-based applications with PHP and browser technologies including HTML, CSS, and Javascript. They must have an understanding of object orientation concepts; experience developing with relational databases; experience with developing responsive web applications; experience with version control systems such as GIT, SVN, Mercurial, or similar, and be able to demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively in a team and contribute and communicate effectively. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate strong communications skills, both written and verbal, and have the ability to manage and prioritize tasks.
