Degree and Area of Specialization:
RN required; BS in Nursing strongly preferred.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
- One year of nursing experience required. Oncology experience and strong interest in clinical research preferred.
- Prefix assignment determined by years of relevant professional work experience. A minimum of seven years of experience is required for appointment at the senior level.
License or certificate:
Licensure as a Registered Nurse is required.
This position involves coordinating clinical research trials for the Gastrointestinal Disease Oriented Team (DOT) and the Breast Cancer/Melanoma DOT at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Carbone Cancer Center. The primary duties of this job involve the management of subjects enrolled in clinical research studies at the UW Carbone Cancer Center (UWCCC). This position reports to the Research Program Manager and work under the general direction of the principal investigator of each research study.
