Summary of Duties:
Washington State University has an exciting opportunity for a creative, agile, self-directed Research Data Management Librarian interested in working within the healthcare field. This one-year fellowship, supported by the Grace and Harold Sewell Memorial Fund, will begin as soon as possible.

The Sewell Fellow will be working in the newly formed The Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine's Technology Incubator.

This position will help launch research data management services for the Technology Incubator. The Fellow will work with relevant stakeholders in developing policies, guidelines and workflows of data management services to ensure good research practice, protection of intellectual property, proper storage and security of research data, compliance with relevant regulations, and appropriate access to research data. The Sewell Fellow will coordinate ongoing training and support for library staff on research data management fundamentals and services. Additionally, the Fellow will provide business assessment and research services for the Incubator's stakeholders.

This is a 1 year appointment.

Required Qualifications:
•ALA-accredited library degree

•Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people (researchers, clinical faculty, educators, students, staff, clinical, industry and community), with different levels of experience to meet their research data management needs.
