Tenure Track/ Clinical Faculty Position: Department of Occupational Therapy
The Occupational Therapy Department at Nazareth College is seeking applications for a combined 9-month tenure track or clinical faculty position in its BS/MS Program in Occupational Therapy.

Requirements:

The preferred candidate will hold an earned doctorate degree, be licensed or eligible for licensure in New York State, currently be certified by NBCOT, and have a minimum of five years of documented clinical experience in the field of occupational therapy.  Experience in a full-time academic appointment with teaching responsibilities at the baccalaureate level is preferred. Candidates who value inter-professional collaboration and possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills are desired.  Applicants who are able to contribute to the college’s initiatives to advance diversity and inclusion on campus are encouraged to apply.

Department of Occupational Therapy
Nazareth College occupational therapy program is a 5 year BS/MS accredited program. The campus’s on site clinic provides the students with extensive clinical experience prior to beginning their level II fieldwork. The occupational therapy program has earned an excellent reputation in the community for preparing students with skills in report writing, clinical reasoning, client and professional interaction and utilizing evidence based practice. 

A newly renovated and state-of-the-art York Wellness and Rehabilitation Institute (YWRI) opened in 2015. The Institute’s 66,000 square feet is equipped to house occupational therapy, physical therapy, art therapy, music therapy and communication sciences and disorders. The WRI provides opportunities for inter-professional collaboration in education, research, and clinical practice.  

Position and Responsibilities
Faculty responsibilities include teaching, advising students, guiding student research projects, student supervision in the on-campus OT Clinic, and service to the College and community.
