Responsibilities

Responsible for maintaining a strong research program and potential to attract extramural funding, teaching undergraduate and graduate students, and providing service to the department and related administrative activities.

Qualifications

We seek candidates with a Ph.D. or who will have their Ph.D. by the start date.
Area within Developmental is open, although we are looking for someone to build upon strengths in cognitive development, applied development, developmental methodology, and/or individual differences.

Our department has a vibrant collaborative faculty, outstanding resources, favorable teaching load, and a collegial atmosphere. Our department ranks second in the country for total research and development expenditures in psychology, and faculty work closely with the Florida Center for Reading Research, the Florida Center for Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics, the School of Communication Science & Disorders, and the brand new FSU Magnetic Resonance Imaging Facility.
