The Department of Clinical Research and Leadership Development at the George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences invites applications for a full-time (12 month), non-tenure track faculty position to be filled at the rank of assistant or associate professor. Our Program is located in a state-of-the-art facility in the heart of Washington, DC, and provides a dynamic academic environment that fosters collaborative educational and research initiatives and interprofessional approaches to training health care professionals.  This faculty member will be teaching in the BSHS programs in Clinical Health Sciences and Emergency Health Sciences as well as undergraduate programs currently under development.

Responsibilities include developing and teaching online and blended undergraduate courses in interprofessional education; clinical management and oversight; ethics; diversity health and policy; new courses specifically designed for undergraduate students interested in careers in the health professions; developing an active research program; assessing student learning outcomes and program effectiveness; providing service at university, community and professional level; and advising and mentoring students. Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. A competitive benefits package is provided.

Basic Requirements:  Terminal Degree (such as PhD, EdD, DSci) in health sciences or related field by time of appointment and evidence of active scholarship in your area of expertise.
