Job Description Summary:

George Washington University is seeking a skilled and collaborative Full Stack Developer for a 4-month temporary assignment

The developer will be responsible for:

- Redesigning and rebuilding a web-based Microbiome tool from scratch, including the front and backend

- Integrating the application with an MVC framework

- Updating and or redesigning database keeping performance in perspective

- Testing the final application and provide post-launch bug support

Minimum Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have 3+ experience in:

- Building web applications using PHP, Laravel and/or Ruby, Ruby On Rails

- Working with Javascript, JQuery, HTML, HTML5, CCS, CSS3, Bootstrap, MySQL

- Building web and mobile UX

- In designing databases

- Writing code that would communicate with remote methods and services

- Web applications deployment

- Estimating project effort and timelines

- Excellent communication and coordination skills

- Excellent ability to meet timelines
