Job Summary/Basic Function: This position will support the research, education and service/outreach missions for the Institute for Water Resources Science and Technology. This position will take lead responsibility for administration and support of the M.S. degree program in Water Resources Science and Technology (WateRST), as well as course development at the undergraduate level, including on-line courses. One focus of the position will be research in WateRST, including the development of collaborative research and outreach relationships inside the Texas A&M University System agencies and elsewhere. Another focus will be assisting with the administration of the Institute and the service/outreach associated with the Institute. Solicitation of external grant funding, including funding for interdisciplinary collaborative research projects in WateRST, is a major expectation of this position. Teaching workload will be 2/2. Continuous professional development and excellence in performance is expected.
Work Hours: Flexible, to suit course and research schedule.

Necessary Qualifications: Ph.D. in a Water Resources Science, Environmental Engineering or a related field.
Necessary Qualifications: Minimum of ten years of experience in water resources related positions having research, administrative and/or education responsibilities. Minimum of six years of university teaching experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Broad training related to water quality, water conservation, groundwater, bioremediation, managed water facilities, green infrastructure and low water impact development.
Experience in a water resource related private water industry, public water agency, and/or non-governmental organization.
Working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
