Occupational Summary

Performs basic statistical analysis and programming for various research projects, with guidance and support.

Work Performed
  • Apply statistical methodology under the guidance of the PI
  • Maintain all code in a reproducible and replicable manner
  • Independently learn new statistical approaches as required
  • Work on the development of new statistical methods with the PI
  • Interact with clinicians and collaborators
  • Write up results in report and manuscript form
  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
Core requirements are:
  • Advanced knowledge of R programming language
  • Familiarity with advanced graphing techniques including ggplot and shiny apps
  • Ability to work in Linux server environment
  • Knowledge of Electronic Health Records data
  • Experience developing and evaluating risk prediction models
  • Strong writing skills


Education/Training

Work requires a Bachelor's degree in (bio)statistics or related field.
