Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic candidate to study respiratory viral infections and airway inflammation using state-of-the-art in vitro model systems and Lung Airway Chip platforms. The successful applicant is expected to be highly motivated, driven and collaborative, and have demonstrated the ability to independently complete research projects. In conjunction with the Department of Bioengineering, our laboratory offers a unique interdisciplinary research ecosystem within Pulmonary Division of the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Our laboratory pursues high-risk research and is translationally focused, with the aim of positively impacting human health and our society through our discoveries.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

PhD, MD, MD/PhD, or PharmD degree in Biological Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Expertise in lung cell biology, immunology, or tissue engineering.
  • Familiarity with microfluidic systems
  • Familiarity with chip microfabrication
