Minimum hourly rate is $14.25/hour but negotiable depending upon qualifications.
Under the general supervision of the Assistant Dean for Career and Professional Development, this position provides administrative, clerical, and technical support to the Assistant Dean, Director and Associate Directors; assists in organizing the Office of Career and Professional Development, ensuring that all deadlines and office financial obligations are met; and supports a very busy, complex office involved in the counseling and advising of, and programming for 500+ professional law students.
Individual must demonstrate a commitment to courteous, sincere, and sensitive customer service; present a positive, patient, tolerant attitude in all personal and telephonic interactions, as well as a positive image of the Law School; consistently exercise attention to detail, accuracy, and professionalism; possess a sense of humor; and strive to maintain a cooperative relationship with students, alumni, faculty, staff, and visitors.
Position requires considerate, accurate and timely response to students and all other customers; a genuine interest in working with the public; ability to take initiative, prioritize,exercise patience, demonstrate outstanding customer service, deal with interruptions, and be open to change. Flexibility is a must.
Could be part-time or full-time. Willing to consider as little as 50% time (20 hours/week) or anything up to full-time (40 hours/week). Office hours are usually 8am - 5pm, but somewhat flexible.
