ANNUAL (12 months)
Degree and Area of Specialization:
Bachelor's Degree required.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
-At least 2 years of relevant experience required.
-Experience in preparing paraffin and frozen embedded tissue and sectioning desirable.
-Experience in working with ocular tissue highly preferred.
This position will perform specialized molecular & immunohistochemical based histology techniques, on animal & human tissue samples for research studies only.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
-Detail oriented with strong interpersonal, organizational and management skills critical.
-Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint are required.
-Ability to plan, organize, lead and manage projects within deadline and budget parameters, achieving measurable results desired.
-Ability to take responsibility to meet deadlines and initiate tasks without close supervision.
-Ability to balance and prioritize multiple responsibilities effectively desirable.
Title prefix and salary will be dependent on relevant years of experience.
