Advertised Job Summary
This Training Assistant position provides administrative support for the Children's Law Center's training program for professionals who are required to report suspected child maltreatment. Duties include responding to training requests and scheduling trainers, preparing materials and handling other details, compiling evaluation results, and maintaining training records.Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)
Bachelor's degree, or high school diploma and 4 years work experience that is directly related to the area of employment; or equivalency.Preferred Qualifications
Prefer experience in coordination of training programs or event planning. Experience in a legal or social services setting would be a plus.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Must have excellent overall computer skills. Must be highly organized and attentive to detail. Must be able to communicate effectively and courteously with staff, trainees, and vendors. Must be able to perform basic mathematical computations.
