The Lewis Honors College is currently seeking an Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. This position will be responsible for the oversight and management of the Academic Affairs program, and will ensure that academic standards are maintained by students and faculty of the College and those faculty teaching on behalf of the College. This is a tenure track position, with a 3 year, 10 month, renewable appointment.

Responsibilities will include establishment and maintenance of an effective advising system for students, in charge of all registration functions, preparation of schedules and catalog materials for the College. This position will engage with associate deans of other colleges and schools and their departments at UK, and will be the contact with Dean of Undergraduate Studies and Undergraduate Council regarding undergraduate matters and curriculum.

The Associate Dean for Academic Affairs will work with departments to foster and develop honors courses in their discipline. They will have administrative authority over the Director of Academic Affairs, Lecturers and Academic Advisors, while all administrative responsibilities assigned will be administered in coordination with the Dean of the College.
