Job Summary


The Part-Time Warehouse Specialist organizes and maintains inventory of supplies and equipment at all campuses maintenance storage spaces.


Duties & Responsibilities


•Drives a College vehicle to pick up and deliver College equipment and supplies
•Assists in identifying, organizing and maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment arriving at the campuses Facilities Maintenance storage spaces that are in working condition
•Unloads trailers and trucks
•Conducts inventory of items arriving at the campuses Facilities Maintenance storage spaces
•Stores equipment and supplies using a forklift to move the pallets to its allocated space
•Performs warehouse minor repairs and maintenance to keep the place in a clean and safe environment
•Drives a forklift to move heavy equipment to its allocated space
•Performs other duties as assigned


Minimum Requirements


•High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent from a regionally accredited institution and two (2) years of working experience
•All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
•Possess a current Valid Florida Driver License
•Possess a Forklift Certification or ability to pass a Forklift Certification training test provided by the department as soon as offered
•Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures
•Knowledge of warehousing procedures
•Computer literacy
•Working knowledge and experience in inventory control
•Possess strong organizational skills
•Ability to drive a college vehicle
•Ability to work a flexible schedule to include evening and weekend assignments
•Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staff
