Job Summary

The Part-Time Curriculum Developer will play an essential role in the implementation and development of departmental curriculum. The Curriculum Developer will be responsible for the successful design, development, and implementation of departmental standards in the assigned language and will work with the instructors to improve our educational programs.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Works with instructors to ensure curriculum is aligned with departmental standards and is achieving grant goals
  • Reviews current curriculum and develops materials in assigned language
  • Encourages the use of community resources, cooperates with Small Business on their educational needs and with community members as needed
  • Prepares materials and forms according to College standards and requirements
  • Collaborates closely with the Curriculum Director, Faculty, and other curriculum development team members
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from a regionally accredited institution and three (3) years experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals, and objectives, and policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of various educational models pertaining to adult learners
  • Proficiency in strategic planning
  • Possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Possess strong leadership skills
  • Ability to implement programs to improve educational achievement
  • Ability to build partnerships with community organizations and small businesses
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to include evening and weekend assignments
  • Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staff
