Job Summary


The Part-Time Accounting Lab Instructor supports the learning process of the business students by emphasizing the subject areas taught in the classroom.


Duties & Responsibilities


  • Researches, develops, and conducts study sessions for students
  • Assists the Business department in development of material
  • Provides instruction in a lab setting or classroom setting
  • Evaluates and grades student written work and software assignments
  • Provides training for other lab staff members on lab policy and procedures
  • Participates in workshops and training
  • Performs other duties as assigned



Minimum Requirements


  • Bachelor's Degree in related business field from a regionally accredited institution with at least one (1) year of teaching experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge and understanding of effectively managing the work flow
  • Possess efficient time-management and organizational skills
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staff
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend assignments
