Job Summary


The Part-Time Assistant is responsible for assisting the Director and staff to create and maintain the existing EEI programs consisting of a broad range of duties associated with the proper functioning of the Earth Ethics Institute on several campuses and in the community.


Duties & Responsibilities


  • Organizes internal and external programs
  • Assists in the creation and maintenance of program files
  • Collects and maintains documentation for each program
  • Serves as a liaison between the Earth Ethics Institute and program participants
  • Provides general information and answers calls regarding Earth Ethics Institute programs
  • Assists in coordinating internal and external resources to deliver services to program participants
  • Assists in continuous program evaluation
  • Performs other duties as assigned



Minimum Requirements


  • Bachelor's Degree; or Associate's degree from a regionally accredited institution and two (2) years of related experience
  • All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
  • Exposure to or involvement in project management
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills
  • Possess computer skills
  • Possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Possess personal transportation with the ability to travel to various campuses as needed
  • Ability to be responsive to the needs of the program/participants
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to include evening and weekend assignments as assigned
  • Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staff
