Job Summary


The position provides advanced support to the Office of Finance Chart of Accounts (COA) and Security, assisting both Finance Security Administrator and Chart of Accounts Compliance Specialist.


Job Summary


•Assists Finance Security Administrator with security configurations, troubleshooting security defects, and acts as department Finance Security lead in absence of Assistant Director
•Processes approved system security access requests and reviews segregation of duties on user access
•Assists COA Compliance Specialist with chart of accounts structure maintenance and the establishment of the College accounting structure
•Monitors and maintains security tickets through Kaseya ticketing system
•Works in conjunction with payroll and finance to maintain and ensure college wide department access and workflow configuration
•Trains new employees on general knowledge of security access and is lead to part-time employees during special projects
•Performs other duties as assigned


Minimum Requirements


•Associate's degree and four (4) years of experience in Finance or related area, or any combination of education and experience in an academic setting
•All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
•Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals, objectives, and policies and procedures
•Knowledge of the rules and regulations of the State's colleges finance system
•Knowledge of current technical developments and trends in area of expertise
•Knowledge of PC applications and solid computational skills
•Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and work well under limited time constraints
•Possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail
•Ability to work in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty, and staff
