NYU-Gallatin has an exciting opportunity for a Director of Alumni Relations with a passion for relationship building, program design and event planning! S/he will develop and execute alumni events, programs and activities; build connections with alumni, students, industry leaders and donors to enhance the School's reputation and increase alumni engagement and support for current students. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years increasingly responsible experience in alumni and/or public relations or equivalent combination. Excellent interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills with a high attention to detail. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Experience with liberal arts institutions preferred.

Required Education:
Bachelor's degree

Preferred Education:
Advanced degree preferred.

Required Experience:
Min 7 years' increasingly responsible experience in alumni and/or public relations or equivalent combination. Must include experience with staff supervision and managing budget.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work with individuals at all levels. Ability to make decisions under pressure. Strong attention to detail. Ability to cultivate and solicit donations. Knowledge of word-processing, spreadsheet, and database applications. A willingness to travel is a must.
