Description/Job Summary
Overview of position:
  1. Provides classroom instruction that centers on the student and student needs
  2. Creates a positive learning environment for urban school students
  3. Be knowledgeable of using technology in the classroom
  4. Ability to teach in areas high schools if required in the early evenings
Employees in this classification receive supervision from the Associate Dean of the Education, Social, and Behavioral Sciences
Required Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Sociology or Anthropology
  • Minimum of one year in higher education

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least one year experience in an institution of Higher Education
  • Experience with classroom technology
  • Experience in working in an urban school
