Duties: Design, build, configure and operate computer hardware and Linux/Unix operating systems based hosts; install and maintain Linux-based software and services; monitor and maintain (upgrades, fixes, security patches) systems and services; maintain existing systems hardware, tracking service and repair history; install, maintain and provide technical guidance for configuration management infrastructure for on-premise and Amazon Web Services cloud platform, others; test new computer hardware and operating system technologies and areas, writing reports on findings; communicate regularly on status, progress to supervisors, project teams; maintain regular contact with Local Support Providers and the central help desk; maintain regular contact with key vendors via technical support channels.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and a a minimum of one year of Linux server administration experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Production server administration experience, including new system builds and ongoing systems maintenance, and experience with configuration management technologies. Basic Apache and MySQL administration a plus; experience with DNS, DHCP configuration and management on Linux a plus; experience with Puppet or other automation tools highly desirable; experience with commercial or Open Source Voice over IP solutions and with storage area networks (EMC, Cisco Fabric Manager, Dell Compellent) a plus. Strong organization skills, and strong written and spoken communications skills; demonstrated ability to work well in a group setting.
