Development Coordinator, School Development Boston Universitys 17 Schools and Colleges require a specialized and hands-on approach to advancement. Staffed by local teams that report dually to the individual school or college Dean, as well as central Development and Alumni Relations, these eighteen individuals work to organize Deans Advisory boards as well as advance a wide-range of faculty. fundraising and alumni relations initiatives. These staff are highly collaborative on gifts and programmatic support, coordinating closely with leadership giving, alumni relations, planned giving and JOB SCOPE The Development Coordinator for School Development performs a wide variety of professional, administrative and staff support tasks for the members of the School Development team. This position provides general office support for the Assistant Vice President of School Development overseeing the school and their staff, serves as a point of contact for major prospects and donors, and helps to organize and execute high level events. Additionally, this position prepares communication materials for meetings or presentations, provides data analysis and research support, and coordinates travel and tracks expenses.
Bachelors degree preferred and 1-3 years of related experience. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are required, as well as the ability to prioritize the workload. Successful candidate must be able to handle confidential material responsibly and interact professionally with a wide spectrum of individuals.
