The Department of Teacher Education and Higher Education at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro is seeking a collaborative leader and instructor in the field of higher education/student affairs administration to fill a tenured position at the Associate/Full Professor level. This is a nine-month/year position.

Responsibilities: Provide leadership in the master's level program in student personnel administration in higher education and the doctoral program in higher education. In addition, responsibilities will include teaching courses, advising master's and doctoral students, chairing doctoral dissertation committees, and serving on department, School of Education, and university committees.



Minimum Qualifications

Earned doctorate in higher education, student personnel administration, or closely related field is required. Established record of scholarly publications and evidence of professional service leadership is required. College teaching (particularly at the graduate level) and successful experience advising doctoral students at the dissertation stage, serving on doctoral committees, and chairing dissertations is required.



Preferred Qualifications

Administrative experience in student affairs or a closely related area and expertise in quantitative research methodology is highly desirable.
