Assistant Director - Child Care Center
Seeking Experienced Full time Assistant Director willing to put in few hours daily as a Teacher for a licensed child care facility.
Job Entails among many;
1. Responsible to assist in the co-ordination and presentation of all reports to the Director. 2. Assist and serve as teacher/ care-giver in a class setting. 3. Co-ordinate parent involvement programs. and Assist director in managing personnel, supervise and monitor staff at the center.4. Assist Director by ensuring the center meets minimum standards and licensing laws.5. Attend to all functions of the directors in his/her absence. 6. Assist Director by keeping appropriate records and issue reports as needed. 7. Help Plan activities that enhance skills in all areas of child development. 8. Supervise teachers classes, their planning and arranging learning modules/centers.9. Perform other related duties and activities as entrusted by the Director.
Education & Experience:
A Bachelors Degree in Education with 12 college hours in child development and three credit hours in business management or An Associate's in Child Development or CDA credentials or Certified Child Care Professional credential or a Directors Credentials Certification. However, 3 years experience in teaching in a licensed child care center along with 1-2 years of some supervisory experience may apply.
