ASST DIR OF INTRAMURALS,SPECIAL EVENTS & PROGRAMS
Duties: The Assistant Director of Intramurals, Special Events, and Programs is responsible for the daily management and operations of the intramural program, department-wide special events, and programs including recreational summer camps. Ensures consistent enforcement and execution of intramural and facility policies and procedures and proper risk management practices. Receives direct administrative supervision and guidance from the Director of Programs.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree in Sports Administration, Recreation, Athletic/Recreation Administration, Physical Education, Business Administration and/or related field, Master's degree preferred and 2 to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and progressive professional experience in collegiate recreation required. Experience in establishing and facilitating strategic goals, developing and implementing policies and procedures. Demonstrated experience in budget development, fiscal integrity and transparency. Ability to teach and develop a strong emphasis on student development philosophy and a commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity and creating an environment of inclusion. Excellent written communication skills; ability to write concise, logical reports. Proficient in computer skills; Microsoft Office Suite and other software.
Must be able to work evenings and weekends, as required.
