Degree and Area of Specialization:
Bachelor's Degree Required
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
One year of work experience as a business analyst or system analyst
Eligibility to legally work in the United States without sponsorship is required by the anticipated start date of the position
3-5 years of work experience as a business analyst or system analyst
Prior experience in a college or university functional/technical position
Knowledge of student records and registration business processes and systems
Knowledge of PeopleSoft
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with SQL
Experience working with student services
Working knowledge of project management techniques
Working knowledge of requirements definition techniques
Working knowledge of relational databases
Understanding of systems and data integration
Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate technical concepts to a variety of proficiency levels
Effective customer service skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Under the limited supervision of the Assistant Registrar of Technical Services, this position will work collaboratively with Student Services; Curricular and Academic Management Services; and Administration, Reporting and Eligibility Services areas to provide technical and functional support for business process innovation in the Office of the Registrar. The incumbent for this position is part of a team that provides expertise in student information system set-up and processes.
The incumbent will collaborate with technical and functional staff to propose, test and implement system improvements, and to enhance process workflow.
