Position Overview

Provides strategic leadership for eLearning designs, development, logistics and consulting services. Provides evidence-based consulting to senior leadership on strategic an operational issues influencing eLearning. Responsible for the creation and implementation of innovative eLearning programs and services. Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders on strategic and operational aspects of eLearning.

Department Specific Essential Job Functions

Identifies, mobilizes, and delivers into client relationships the right people, solutions, resources, and ideas.

Sets and executes a client relationship strategy that defines which issues to focus on, which opportunities to pursue, and which projects/clients to invest in.

Services existing accounts and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.

Develops and implements a marketing plan to include market research, communications, sales development and special events programs.

Coordinates and provides professional support and consultation to clients in the selection, design, production and implementation of effective learning environment products and strategies.

Builds and manages a vibrant, long-term network of relationships with individuals from multiple constituencies.

Oversees all CeCE marketing functions not limited to print, web, promotions, and/or sales.

Develop and implement a robust social media strategy for the Center and Institute.

Develop content strategy, and content, for websites, blogs, social media sites, microsites, digital marketing campaigns, testimonial and case studies, and related materials.

Represents the department and institute at internal and external events, including trade shows, conferences, and sponsored events.

Provides logistical and on-site support for Institute events.

Assists in eLearning strategic planning.

Qualifications/Experience Required

Requires a university degree or equivalent work experience that provides knowledge of and exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts. Requires the application of expertise in a chosen field to achieve results. 5+ years of experience with leading planning, including program development and innovation, program prioritization, and assessment. Appropriate profession accomplishments and credentials.

Qualifications/Experience Preferred

Bachelor's degree in marketing, design, digital media, or relevant related field or three (3) to five (5) years of marketing and branding, sales, brand content marketing, traditional / digital marketing and user experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience.

Experience in project management, including managing time, establishing priorities, distributing responsibilities, and meeting milestones and deliverables.

Excellent problem solving skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Must be a self-starter with proactive approach to work.

Sales background a plus.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team.

Understanding of marketing principles and best practices.

Demonstrated ability to tailor communications to diverse audiences.

Willingness and ability to learn new content production techniques and tools.

Demonstrated ability to create, proofread, and edit copy for a variety of media.

Demonstrate a willingness to learn and be able to quickly internalize critical information when assisting current and potential clients.

Ability to interpret and analyze marketing and sales data.

Exhibit flexibility in managing a high volume of short- and long-term projects.

Knowledgeable in established and emerging trends in marketing and content production.

Communicates effectively orally and in written form with proper grammar, spelling and word usage.

Ability to learn from and synthesize constructive criticism and feedback in a creative environment.

Willingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally at numerous times throughout the year.
