Nature of Work
This administrative position is responsible for serving students in the Media program and maintaining the College of Education website. Student services includes: maintain student files, file retention/destruction according to UWG regulations, respond to student questions: email, phone, in person; support student admissions; maintain database of admissions; maintain student files (current and inactive according to retention guidelines); support graduation audits; run reports and class overrides from Banner. Keep students informed through social media outlets. Maintenance of the COE website includes: review of content for accuracy, connecting with other web servicing units to correct errors, adding content, maintaining the faculty / staff directory, and supporting faculty / staff with any web development.
High school diploma and two to four year’s administrative experience; or a combination of training, education and experience. Proficiency with MS Office and Google products. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Knowledge of Banweb, Banner, PeopleSoft Knowledge of social media outlets
Web page administration experience
$14.48 minimum - $17.85 midpoint
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
Ability to communicate without restrictions, lift up to 25 pounds, and sit for long periods of time.
