Position Summary: The Assistant Director of MBA Admissions & Student Recruitment is a member of an admissions team that engages more than 20,000 prospective applicants and generates around 4,500 completed applicants to UNC's Full-Time, Executive, and Online programs each year. The Assistant Director is a member of the admissions committee with responsibilities that include evaluating applications and recommending admissions decisions. The Assistant Director conducts evaluative applicant interviews and informational interviews for prospective students. The Assistant Director hosts information sessions, makes presentations, and advises prospective applicants. The Assistant Director is one of the on-site admissions directors for walk-in prospective students and assists with the planning of our on-campus and off-campus events. The Assistant Director manages, analyzes, and reports prospect/applicant data and survey data. The Assistant Director will work across all MBA programs at Kenan-Flagler, but their primary focus will be working with the Full-Time MBA Program. The Assistant Director will report to the Senior Associate Director of MBA Admissions & Student Recruitment.

Education Requirements: Master's degree in a related field is required. All degrees must be from accredited institutions.

Qualification and Experience: Position requires excellent written and oral communication skills and strong interpersonal skills. Position requires excellent presentation and organizational skills. Successful applicants must be proficient in word processing, spreadsheet and database software. Position requires some weekend and evening work. Some domestic and international travel is required. Experience recruiting underrepresented minorities, preferably in higher education, is strongly preferred.
