The position is responsible for all routine preventative maintenance of HVAC equipment at the Sugar Grove Campus and extension locations as needed. This includes all heating and cooling systems.

Responsibilities:
Maintain and monitor heating and cooling systems. To include Inspection, replacement of v-belts, air filters, & grease bearings.
Assist with HVAC system trouble shooting, repairs and maintenance.

Safely maintaining chemical treatment for heating and cooling systems. Closed loops-primarily perform daily testing and make necessary operational adjustments as needed.

Perform monthly oiler safety inspections and testing.

Perform monthly fire extinguisher inspections.

Perform Annual Science building Hood air flow certification testing.

Perform basic plumbing repairs which include sinks, toilets, urinals and water fountains.

Safely troubleshoot 120,208,480 control circuits. Perform basic electrical repair and
maintenance.

Assist mechanics as required.

Safety point person for coordinated training and implementation of safety policies within Campus Operations.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Two years employment in related field.

Valid driver's license and a clean driving record required.

Team player, ability to work well with others.

Physical ability to lift 80lbs occasionally

Ability to work from ladders or scaffolds and lifts

Good communication skills, both oral and written.

Comfortable using computer and related devices

Ability to do frequent climbing, standing, crawling and walking.

Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Able to perform basic work order function with smartphone and computer.
