Job Description

The Emergency Medicine Department at the University of Missouri (MU) School of Medicine is seeking applicants for an Assistant/Associate/Full Research Professor to work with faculty and learners in its growing department. The successful candidate is expected to conduct quality research that is published in appropriate venues, present research results to interdisciplinary peers, and engage in service as part of the department of Emergency Medicine. The position will provide the opportunity to work collaboratively with faculty, residents, and other departments. The Emergency Medicine department has an energetic and talented faculty creating a patient-centered environment of excellence. MU is one of the few institutions in the country with colleges of medicine, veterinary medicine, agriculture, engineering, nursing and health professions on one campus. Qualifications

A PhD is required in a field that can contribute to the department's development. Research experience in an academic setting and demonstrated ability to work productively as part of an interdisciplinary team member is preferred.
