POSITION SCOPE

You will serve as a JavaScript guru, providing support, development and guidance to various projects spanning the enterprise.

The right match will be someone who has a solid understanding of JavaScript. This person will have knowledge and experience with the common JavaScript libraries/frameworks, understand the JavaScript that is generated by those, and understand the nuances of the different platforms and browsers the JavaScript runs on.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Seven plus years of overall software development experience with a minimum of five years' experience implementing browser-based solutions

Very knowledgeable of client-side JavaScript (HTML, HTML5, CSS, async, request/response lifecycle, etc.)

Experience with, and solid understanding of, the common JavaScript libraries/frameworks (JQuery, angular, react, node, etc.)

Desire to solve problems that may require thinking outside the box

Demonstrated technical leadership and the ability to work well with other developers

Team player

DESIRED SKILLS:

Experience with Java backend technologies with an understanding of threading and concurrency

Proficient in Agile methodologies

Experience with automated testing (TDD, Mocking, Unit/Functional/Integration)

Experience with development and continuous integration tools: maven, bamboo, git, Jenkins, Crucible, Jira, Confluence, etc.,

Familiarity with mobile device technological limitations

Familiarity with video standards (e.g. VAST and VPAID) and online video players

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering (or equivalent professional experience)
