Department Overview
Student Affairs oversees issues that are relevant to all students from pre-enrollment through graduation. The division provides co-curricular and extra-curricular services, programs, and activities to facilitate students' academic training, personal growth, and professional development. As part of Student Affairs, Testing and Evaluation Services supports the various student testing and faculty/course evaluation needs for UNTHSC.

Position Details
The Department of Student Affairs at the University of North Texas Health Science Center is seeking to hire a Enrollment Services Associate - Testing Services to join our team.

As a member of Testing and Evaluation Services, this position will support UNTHSC student assessment (examination) activities, which will include but are not limited to the following responsibilities:

* Provide support for the administration of exams, including but not limited to assisting departments with the creation of examinations, maintaining a schedule of exams, securing examination content, and ensuring proctor support.
* Maintain Testing Services calendar.
* Support the entry of examination items and the posting of exams (either computer-based or paper-based).
* Communicate with students regarding testing schedule and their requirements.
* Provide in-class support for computer-based exams. This will require a basic knowledge of computer operations and a willingness to learn new technology.
* Manage student assessment related databases, including computer-based examination item banks.
* Interact with administration, faculty, staff, and students regarding student performance related activities.
*Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess the following required qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and one year of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualifications:

* A highly organized self-starter and an independent thinker with the ability to work collaboratively with fellow employees, faculty, and staff.
* Confidence speaking before groups of students (max. 300).
* Ability to work on multiple projects with varying deadlines in a high paced, time-sensitive, accuracy-essential environment.
* Possess strong computer skills and be proficient working with a wide range of software programs including Word, Excel, and database management tools. Experience with MacBooks is a plus.
* Experience in service and support roles, interacting with clients from multiple levels of an organization.
* Experience in an academic support environment is preferable. Experience supporting and interacting with university faculty, students, and administration is a plus.
* Experience administering and scoring examinations, and interpreting/explaining the results of student assessment data is a plus.
* Possess excellent interpersonal skills and proven written communication skills.
* Desired applicant will place a high priority on customer service.
* Ability to set and adhere to strict deadlines.
* Attention to detail and accuracy are a must.
