Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry and the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory
This is a full-time, tenured or tenure-track position, with a 9-month appointment. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain an extramurally funded research program, teach both graduate and undergraduate classes, and to actively participate in the Magnet Lab's efforts to take solution NMR spectroscopy to much higher magnetic fields and to help drive the development of high frequency probes for NMR science.
Open Rank faculty member with research interests in biochemistry and solution NMR spectroscopy. Preference will be given to candidates whose research represents strong arguments for spectroscopy at high magnetic fields including, but not limited to, work in intrinsically disordered proteins or marcromolecular dynamics. Successful candidates will possess a doctoral and postdoctoral training in a relevant field and should have five years or more of professional work experience.
