POSITION: Chair of Film and Electronic Arts and Associate/Full Professor with Tenure (Full-Time, 12-Month)

EFFECTIVE DATE: August 20, 2018 (Fall Semester)

SALARY RANGE: Commensurate with qualifications and experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 	
MFA in Film Production, Screenwriting, Digital/Media Arts, or other film-related discipline, or Ph.D. in Film/Critical Studies or other film-related discipline.

Professional accomplishments commensurate with the rank of tenured associate/full professor.

Demonstrated experience in administration and leadership in the discipline.

Demonstrated excellence in teaching media production and/or media studies at the college level.

Demonstrated commitment to working successfully with a diverse student population.

	
DESIRED/PREFERRED			
QUALIFICATIONS:	
Previous experience as a chair or administrator in an academic program that integrates film studies and production.
Demonstrated success in grant writing and budget management.
Demonstrated history of peer-reviewed research, scholarly and/or creative activities at the national/international level.
Demonstrated excellence in teaching a variety of undergraduate courses, with an expertise in one or more of the following: directing; film or broadcast production; production management; screenwriting; editing; sound design; digital/media arts; media history/theory.
