Advertised Job Summary
To perform skilled preventative and corrective maintenance work on primary heating, air conditioning and ventilation equipment in assigned campus buildings, to include air handlers, pumps, air compressors and exhaust fans. To perform general building maintenance in the electrical, plumbing and carpentry fields.Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)
High school diploma and 6 years directly related trade experience.Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma and six years experience in a related trades or crafts area or general building maintenance, commercial and/or industrial building maintenance preferred.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
A working knowledge of the tools required to perform the proper procedures for HVAC work required. A thorough understanding of the mechanical refrigeration cycle. Must possess universal refrigerant usage certification and a valid S.C. driver's license. Required to conduct business lawfully and ethically by consistently adhering to compliance policies, procedures and regulations.
