ASSISTANT PROFESSOR IN SOCIO-EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT, College of Arts & Sciences (9836/H3117)
The Department of Psychological & Brain Sciences at Boston University invites applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the area of Socio-Emotional Development, to begin July 2018, pending budgetary approval. We are particularly interested in recruiting a researcher with a strong theoretical grounding in individual differences in child socio-emotional development, and expertise in psycho-physiological and/or neural methods (e.g., fMRI, fNIRS). This position is affiliated with our Developmental Science Program. The candidate must be committed to establishing a vigorous, externally supported program of research, a strong publication record, and a strong teaching record. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses and engage in research training at both the undergraduate and graduate level. We seek candidates who have completed their PhD and relevant postdoctoral fellowship experience in Psychology, or a related discipline.
