JOB REQUIREMENTS: Coordinates month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial closings, including global consolidation and financial statement preparation. Supports the Corporate Controller in financial policy development and implementation, coordination of technical accounting issues with business units, and interaction with internal and external auditors on Sarbanes-Oxley issues. Researches and provides guidance and implementation suggestions related to evolving GAAP. Manages monthly review of balance sheet account reconciliations and conducts quarterly reviews of key accounts for compliance with the Company's accounting policies (e.g. adequacy of reserves for returns, inventories, bad debts, accruals and other key accounts) to management. Ensures business and financial policies and controls governing operations are fully compliant with corporate policies and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. Coordinates all audit work requirements for annual financial statement audits. Leads the preparation of the bank-required annual report and interim reporting requirements. Assists auditors with issues related to treasury transactions during financial audits.
THEIR EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Strong Excel skills and ability to analyze and manage data. Results-driven problem solver and decision maker. Strong analytical skills. Ability to facilitate the implementation of process improvements within the financial and accounting function. Successful development and implementation of a strategic plan at a functional or corporate level. Highly customer-focused. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
