Duties:

Under the general direction of the Controller, develops and maintains internal controls for the College’s business system. Writes ad hoc financial reports using report writer software (Synoptix). Maintains Access database, tables, and fields for data usage and report creation. Assists in the overall planning, testing and implementation of the operating budget. Prepares recurring and ad hoc financial analysis using Colleague financials and excel. Maintains the college’s account structure and record security for all users of the college’s business system. Prepares journal entries, financial reports and accruals. Provides technical support to finance personnel and serve as a liaison in implementing, monitoring, and refining systems related to budgeting, accounting, accounts payable, fixed assets and grants management. The Accounting Systems Analyst is dedicated to the learning college concepts by developing programs and facilitating activities that promote student success and lifelong learning.

Education/Experience:

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems or related field; knowledge of financial and accounting practices and procedures; Ellucian/Colleague experience a plus.

Qualifications:

Must have excellent computer skills and computer literacy; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); must be skilled in understanding database structure and have ability to manipulate data imports and exports for financial reporting and analysis; expert in use and development of excel spreadsheets and database management; experience with business intelligence and financial reporting writing software.

Monday – Friday
8:00 am to 5:15 pm

Minimum Starting Rate:  $50,520
