Penn Medicine Clinician – Penn Medicine at Radnor
The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks a candidate as a Penn Medicine Clinician (PMC). The position is based at the Heart and Vascular Center at Penn Medicine Radnor. Responsibilities will primarily include outpatient consultative cardiology, non-invasive cardiology imaging interpretation, and will cover inpatient services as required. The preferred candidate will have achieved level III echocardiographic training. Applicants must have an M.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education, teaching, and clinical care. Teaching opportunities will be available with cardiology fellows as well as residents and medical students. Applicants must also be board certified or board eligible in Cardiovascular Medicine.
The Heart and Vascular Center at Radnor is an active out-patient cardiovascular practice currently staffed by two anchor physicians as well as several physicians rotating on a weekly or monthly basis. In FY 2017 there were 1,245 new patient visits, 1,299 total visits and 2,235 echocardiograms were performed, as well as 525 stress echoes, 384 nuclear stress tests, and 299 routine treadmill tests.
As a member of the Associated Faculty, you must participate in a minimum of 50 hours per year of active and high quality teaching or equivalent service.
