Position Details
The Department of Pediatrics at the University of North Texas Health Science Center is seeking to hire a Supervisor, Clinic Operation to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:

The Supervisor, Clinic Operations is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the clinical operations department. This includes staff supervision, development and implementation of policies and procedures, staff development and coordination with all relevant internal and external stakeholders. The Supervisor, Clinic Operations collaborates with the Clinical Director to assure consistent communication between departments.

* Direct the day to day operations of the medical practice office.
* Supervise the activities of the support staff, including front desk registration, medical assistants and LVNs.
* Maintain the clinical schedule of the physicians and physician assistants in an electronic format.
* Assure that billing and collection activities are performed accurately and timely for the practice office.
* Coordinate with other offices and clinical practice locations.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree and three (3) years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualifications:

* Bilingual (English/Spanish) speaking skills.
* Knowledge/experience with electronic medical records.
* Worked in a Pediatric clinical setting *Supervised clinical support staff.
