Degree and Area of Specialization:
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
At least 3 years post JD work experience required, preferably in criminal and civil areas of law. Extensive interactions with the court and judicial officers preferred. Clerkship experience a plus. Significant writing experience and event management experience also preferred.
The Law School departments of External Affairs and Continuing Legal Education have been combined under External Affairs. Reporting to the Associate Dean for External Affairs, this position provides strategic and on the ground management of the Law School's continuing legal education programs and publications. Advise and make recommendations to the Associate Dean regarding the future direction, trends and and growth of this department. Requires both detail orientation and strategic mindfulness.
This position is initially terminal, but may become permanent. The first year will act as a probationary period. Renewal to a second year will depend on satisfactory performance, department need, and available funding. This position may become renewable (permanent) after the second year, depending upon department need and funding.
