Degree and Area of Specialization:
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in communications, public relations, marketing or business
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Experience with social media (Face Book and Twitter) preferred.
Experience working with volunteer groups also preferred.
The University of Wisconsin Department of Surgery is seeking a bright, creative and energetic professional. This candidate will work with the Director of Development in providing support to facilitate and execute projects aimed at acquiring and building donor relationships for the University of Wisconsin Department of Surgery.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, together with the ability to work collaboratively with alumni, donors, students, faculty, staff and other constituents
Outstanding written and oral communication skills
Strong organizational skills
High professional and ethical standards for handling confidential information
Ability to organize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously with close attention to detail
Ability to prioritize projects in order to meet deadlines
Ability to work as a member of an effective and efficient advancement team
