The Department of Chemistry at Tufts University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level. Applicants with research programs representing all sub-disciplines of chemistry are welcome to apply. The Chemistry Department at Tufts is a well-funded and accomplished community of researchers with collaborations spanning the globe. Excellent resources are available, particularly for interdisciplinary research in chemistry at the interface with biology, and chemistry with applications in materials and/or energy – both areas are strengths at the department and university levels. Teaching responsibilities will include graduate and undergraduate courses in chemistry related to the candidate's field of research. Qualifications: a Ph.D. in Chemistry or related field, a demonstrated potential to develop an internationally-recognized research program, and excellence in teaching.
