Job Summary/Basic Function: Under direction of the Associate Dean of College of Education & Human Development, this grant related position will work on-site at Stewart Elementary School in the San Antonio Independent School District. The University Partnership Coordinator will provide planning, assist in facilitation of education initiatives, and establish professional learning communities and other projects at Stewart Elementary.

This position will follow the SAISD calendar starting September, 2016 through the end of the school year, 2020.

Work Hours: 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

Education

Necessary Qualifications: Master's degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience

Necessary Qualifications: Five years in education with experience in project planning and management, coordinating multiple-site projects, and school administration.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with instructional coaching.

Other Requirements or Other Factors

Other Qualifications for Posting: Necessary
Knowledge of public school and university operations. In-depth knowledge of education administration. Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.

Will require some travel.

Preferred
Texas Principal or Mid-Management certification.
